Capital Flight and Exchange Rate Policy in Covid-19 Context: What are the Explanatory Factors in the Franc Zone and Non-Franc Zone Countries?

The aim of this study is to make a comparative analysis the macroeconomic and institutional determinants capital flight between franc zone non-franc countries over 1984-2018 period. pooled mean groups (PMG) regression results show that exchange rate negatively significantly determines in countries, while positively but insignificantly flight. We are more interested subject because persistence these areas after Covid-19 crisis. Our main recommendation put place policies control fluctuations, especially countries. This could help limit expectations when for cyclical reasons, rates depreciate.
